6 Best Websites for Nurse Practitioner Continuing Education

To maintain their national board-certification and their state licensures, all nurse practitioners (NPs) must complete a certain amount of continuing education on a recurring basis. For some NPs, a percentage of their continuing education must be pharmacology-related and another percentage must be specific to their medical specialty.

Nurse practitioners should check with the Board of Nursing in the state that they are licensed to determine the continuing education requirements for their registered nurse (RN) and NP licensures.
